Parent Organization: University of Connecticut
We are genuine Christians who love our Lord Jesus and care for what is on His heart. We understand that many of us come from different religious and cultural backgrounds, so that is why in all of our fellowship and worship we like to uplift and exalt one person, Jesus Christ! Our focus is the Lord, not on any other person, matter, or teaching. We desire to maintain the oneness of the Spirit, and pray that all His believers would arrive at the oneness of the faith by dropping all minor issues and by uplifting our Lord Jesus Christ, for the building up of the Body of Christ.
Bible Studies: Every Tuesday from 12:15-1:15 pm, room 410 in the Student Union. Last semester we enjoyed the books of John and how Christ is Life to us!
Bi-Annual Retreats: Every semester we join together with other Christians on campus from the Northeast at a retreat center to enjoy Christ for a weekend. Last retreat was concerning the second coming of Christ, how to prepare for His coming, and how to hasten His coming! Come Lord Jesus!
Spring Break and Summer Trips: Last spring break we traveled to southern California and enjoyed meeting and fellowshipping with other Christian students in SoCal. This summer we will be headed to the University of Illinois for the College Training.
BBQ’s: At a local community members home, we gather together to play games/sports, sing hymns, enjoy Christ and BBQ. (weather dependent)
Hikes and Outings: At least once a semester we like to come together with other Christians from Central Connecticut State University. Together we enjoy the outdoors, hike trails, and appreciate God’s creation.
Fellowship in the Homes: Every Thursday, from 5:30-7:30, we have the opportunity to build relationships with local Christians by having dinner, singing, and Bible studies in the surrounding community members homes.
Prayer Groups: Daily we like to come together to pray for our friends, roommates, classmates and the University of Connecticut. Join us this semester as we pray!
Preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom: At least once a week, we like to go out two by two, to share the gospel of the kingdom throughout the UConn-Storrs campus.
